Pizza Time at Cal Expo

This drawing is of the Warblettes, Jasper, Bubbles, and Artie Antlers of Pizza Time Theater/Chuck E Cheese (only Jasper is still in use) as well as Princess Haley from a CEI retrofit of the Rock Afire show once popular at Showbiz Pizza, and the California State Fair mascot Poppy, at Cal Expo, home of the California State Fair, Sacramento County Fair, Festival de La Familia (a Hispanic culture festival), gun shows, and various other events, plus the Raging Rapids (then Water World) water park, reflected by one of the Warblettes dripping. The scene is based upon my memory from a day at the county fair there. Building C is my favorite of the shopping expo buildings (the blue/gray buildings, where the County Exhibits are). As the fairs change each year, and various other events take place, I decided to leave out the food stands and other stuff you might see from this angle. Also it's worth noting that the California State Fair no longer awards prizes for vegetables, which Jasper has won in the pic, but the county fair still does, and there is still The Farm, a working farm at Cal Expo intended to show what California agriculture is like to state fair visitors.
